Ms. Potok has worked in many areas of social work for 30 years, including programs for the learning disabled. She also is the mother of a learning disabled child. In 1997, Ms. Potok joined the board as executive director of Aid to Inmate Mothers (AIM), a nonprofit in Montgomery, AL that helps reunite incarcerated mothers and their children.
